The Julio Díaz González Hospital is a teaching and research center that provides specialized medical assistance of second level for the care of patients who present physical, psychic and motor sequels, produced by diseases or traumatisms of diverse nature, which interfere with their adequate individual and social performance. For this purpose, we carry out prevention, promotion, restoration and rehabilitation actions.

With over three decades of experience in caring for patients of different nationalities, our room has 12 private rooms for patients and companions, with air conditioning, cable TV, minibar, safe, nursing station, consultation area, lobby, terrace, kitchen, restaurant and a la carte menu under medical prescription.

Area specialized in the evaluation and treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal conditions that require motor reeducation, muscle balance, isokinetic training, motor relearning, gait reeducation, coordination and balance. New equipment includes Biofeedback Platform, Mat h/p/ cosmos with Robowalk Expander system, Contrex, and several models of the Thera Trainer line including Fit, Balance 124, Balo 524, Tigo 510, E-go.

We have therapeutic pools, walking tank, total bath tubs, grandstand and Vichy showers, which provide an unlimited therapeutic arsenal for the recovery of multiple muscular-skeletal and neurological conditions, mainly those with spasticity.

There are two pools at 34 °C, one for the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injuries and the other for the treatment of neurological, cardiorespiratory and musculoskeletal conditions. In addition to quality of life programs for geriatric, obese and other chronic disease patients.
