Sundance, New York, Tribeca, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Miami are American cities that annually summon moviegoers and creators from all around the globe to attend the film festivals that these cities host, important events that stand out for the quality of its screenings and the momentum they give to the productions presented there. Countless landscapes, environments, places, buildings and urban settings across the United States have served as backdrops for shooting movies. Such hallmarks as Central Park in New York, which has been shown in Men in Black II, Superman Returns and Spiderman III; Venice Beach, in California, seen in American Pie or Million Dollar Baby; and the almost mandatory Las Vegas, in Nevada, included in blockbuster flicks like Ocean's Eleven, Rain Man, Ocean's Thirteen, 21 Blackjack and Iron Man, also stands out.
