The Chorote
Cocoa balls can be made in different ways to be consumed, but the most traditional drink is the Chorote, a blending of the powder extracted by grating "the ball", the coconut milk and a thickener that can be wheat flour or mananina.
It is known that in the Feast of the Cross or wakes, the main infusion served to the attendees is the Chorote, which has "presided over" ceremonies, rites and festivities for centuries.
